Empowering businesses to recognize and address their pressures on the ocean
We collaborate with academia, finance, and industry experts to highlight the ocean's environmental challenges.
Together, we drive innovative solutions to protect and restore marine biodiversity.
At One Ocean Foundation, we strongly believe in the key role of business in fostering a sustainable transformation.
Through our multi-year research initiative, Business for Ocean Sustainability (B4OS), we explore the relationship between business and ocean sustainability, aiming to drive positive impact across industries, since 2019.
The scientific review conducted in the framework of our research underlined that all industries, directly or indirectly interacting with the ocean, potentially exert a pressure on Good Environmental Status descriptors (GES), identified by the European Commission.
